What do we mean by "No Sugar Added"?

Products that we sell have no sugar added during the baking process. There are naturally occurring sugars in many components used in the baking process. For example, cream cheese has a natural occurring sugar. These are sugars produced by nature but not added in the baking process by us.

Our "No Sugar Added" products are sweetened with Xylitol, a low-glycaemic sweetener that is metabolized independently of insulin. Xylitol does not cause the sharp increase in blood sugar levels which is usually seen following the consumption of other carbohydrates. Thus, Xylitol can be recommended as a sugar-free sweetener suitable for diabetics as well as for the general population seeking a healthier lifestyle.
